Several commonly-used pigment fillers make the internal stress of the coating order: titanium white = zinc oxide> barium sulfate> calcium carbonate> talc powder = aluminum powder. The internal stress of the epoxy coating film increases as the amount of zinc oxide increases, and the bonding strength of the coating film increases as the amount of zinc oxide increases. Tests have shown that when the internal stress of the coating exceeds the bond strength, the coating film will peel; when the internal stress exceeds the cohesion, the coating film will crack.

Additives in auxiliary epoxy coatings include curing accelerators, thixotropic agents, leveling agents, defoamers, flame retardants, plasticizers and coupling agents, among which the greatest impact on the curing reaction rate It is a curing accelerator. When the epoxy resin in the epoxy coating reacts with the curing agent, the structure and the amount of the curing accelerator used have a great influence on the curing reaction rate. When the steric hindrance of the curing accelerator is increased, it is not conducive to the curing reaction; an increase in the amount of the curing accelerator will accelerate the curing reaction rate. Liquid bisphenol A type epoxy resin: Polyfunctional epoxide-hydrogen sulfide adduct = 100:75 mass ratio, a tertiary amine was used as a curing accelerator, and the curing reaction was carried out at 25C. With liquid bisphenol A type epoxy resin: polythiol = 100:60 mass ratio, DMP-30 was used as a curing accelerator, and the curing reaction was performed at 25°C. 6. Solid Solvents Most of the solvents used in epoxy coatings are made by mixing two or more organic solvents. It is also called as diluent for diluents.
